Anton Coetzee

Anton Coetzee is a co-ordinator for the Metsemegologolo project and a PhD Candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand. He is primarily working on (open-source) tools for 3-D recording and representation of heritage objects (particularly rock art panels and shelters). His research interests include looking at ideas of authenticity and aura in the case of digitised artefacts and what this means for researchers and viewers. He is the lead developer for the Metsemegologolo software platform.
